I bid and won 2 items from Long Island Treasures on Thursday 2026. They did not send me a confirmation. The pickup was on Sun. Between 10 AM and 2 PM. They sent a notice of pickup at 11:17 Sun. Morning. The notice came late and gave me just enough time to make the pickup.
Online auctions that provide shipping are great since they give buyers the option of "attending" from anywhere in the country. I was very happy to get an item I've been searching for for several years.
It’s already quite tough to win something on auction, and in my case “won” twin headboards and the lady (Ms Barton) was so rude and dismissive that I actually never want to use the platform again, so I unsubscribed.
First time bidder, easy to set up an account during an active auction. Down side was that each time at the closing time, the 4 min timer would reset resulting in frustration. I guess I was not aware of this prior to my first auction bid. I did end up getting the item I wanted though. I will definately keep my eye out for future auctions.
