We purchased several boxes worth several hundred dollars from the Detroit Pallet Liquidation warehouse. We were so excited to open these and oh what a disappointment. The boxes contained nothing but garbage, empty boxes with no merchandise inside. Long story short, we threw away 99% of the contents of these boxes. Will NEVER purchase from them again.
They are complete and absolute frauds. They hide behind there “As Is” and deliver pallets that are completely inconsistent with the manifest. Pallets come 10-20% accurate compared to the manifests they provided. This is fraud on a large scale and should be referred to the federal government.
This is a scam. I lost nearly $2000 on purchase of the pallet with "shipping and handling" of $79 then after purchase a $500 insurance followed by $700 shipping and handling. Both were to be refunded once the pallet was received. No pallet, not refund nothing. Scam.
Direct Liquidation has become a complete waste of time and money. The quality of their pallets keeps getting worse and worse. It feels like they are cherry-picking all the good and valuable items before selling the leftovers to customers.
They already operate or supply multiple refurbished/resale companies selling on eBay and Walmart, such as VIP Outlet and GoWholesale. It strongly appears that the best products are separated first for those sales channels, while buyers of liquidation pallets are left with broken, heavily used, incomplete, or worthless items.
Many pallets are advertised as “customer returns,” but in reality, it seems they are also mixing in returns from their own resale channels — meaning some items are essentially “double returns.” Products often arrive excessively used, damaged beyond repair, missing parts, or clearly meant for the garbage.
We have even seen random office-use leftovers and junk-level items included in pallets. It honestly feels like they are using liquidation buyers as a paid dumpster service instead of providing fair-value merchandise.
Years ago, pallets had decent recovery value. Now, too many loads are packed with trash, unusable products,
Absolute terrible terrible company / customer service / entire thing is terrible.
Do not buy unless you want a headache of an experience and they take zero accountability
I've been buying liquidation for over 5 years and this is the worst company I've ever dealt with
Henley sent me an email for 4 truckload of AC units.I paid the invoice with the quickness. I got the first load and it was all Christmas tree's and Halloween decorations. A waste of money. Then the second one came another truckload full of Christmas trees. I sent a video and refused the truck. Now fighting to get my money back on 4 loads. Henely wont answer the phone they lie and sell you Bullshit. Buyer beware DONT BUY!!!!!!
Said I need a "dock high truck" to pick up my order (it didn't say that when I made the bid), so instead of paying $100 or so in gas, I had to pay $700 to have it delivered. When the 3 pallets got here, NONE OF THEM MATCHED THE MANIFEST! They will not make this right. I will never buy from this company again, and you shouldn't either.
I bought 3 pallets, 2 of air conditioners and one of humidifiers/dehumidifiers. First, they don't disclose that you need a "Dock-high" truck to pick up your pallets, so instead of spending $150 in gas to make the 4 hour drive, I had to pay over $700 to have it shipped to me (and it took 2 weeks to get here). Second, NONE OF THE PALLETS WERE CORRECT. Two of them had a wrong item, but the worst was the third, which was missing an expensive air conditioner. I'll be lucky to break even.
untested means junk manifest is a lie they will short you! support is trash they cherry pick everything to put on goWholesale they other company and if you buy from goWholesale if it says new its a return they repacked avoid them unless you like to lose money
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding Direct Liquidation. On June 30, 2025, we purchased a total of 2,592 units of Philips 473371 Hue Wireless Connected Dimmer Switches (Invoice No. 108555019, Order ID 9320469).
Before completing the purchase, we specifically requested brand authorization or authenticity documentation to verify the origin and legitimacy of these products. At that time, we were assured that all required documents would be provided after the payment was completed.
However, after finalizing the payment and submitting our formal request for the documents, we received only a generic response containing general company information. No specific proof of authorization or authenticity has been provided to date.
This situation raises serious concerns regarding transparency and the legitimacy of the products. A company dealing in branded electronic goods is expected to provide official documentation verifying authenticity or sales authorization when requested by the buyer.
We respectfully request that this matter be formally reviewed, and that the company be required to either provide the requested documentation or issue a clear official state
I made the mistake of placing three separate orders with Direct Liquidation — and each one was worse than the last. Order #1: A pallet of monitors they claimed would be at least 75% functional. In reality, only about 30% didn't have shattered screens. I chalked it up to bad luck. Order #2: A pallet advertised as "NEW" with no dents, scratches, or cosmetic damage. What I received was beyond unacceptable — the box had a hole the size of a basketball, and both units were heavily damaged, with bent metal frames and completely non-functional components. Thankfully, I have video footage showing the delivery process, including the condition of the items as they came off the truck. Customer service initially offered only a 25% store credit, which I refused. I escalated the matter to my credit card company and provided full documentation. Direct Liquidation later claimed they'd issue a refund — but only for 45% of the total invoice. They're now insisting they don't cover freight (which is irrelevant, as even without freight, their refund offer is still short). They filed a shipping claim as that's who offered the refund amount from the warranty company on the frieght. The original product p

They take a non-refundable deposit on the offer before the deal is concluded. Then they put a huge price tag on delivery and exclude pickup. There is no information about the location.
They are deceiving about the price. I made an offer for a lot for $370, they blocked $37 on my credit card. After accepting my offer, it turned out that I can't pick up this lot myself and their delivery costs $320. I do not recommend anyone to contact this place. Such important information should be specified before the buyer makes an offer. In the end, after corresponding with support, I was told that I had to click the "buy" button and see everything there... Why? I clicked the "make an offer" button and there was no information about delivery or pickup. Avoid this place.
SCAM WARNING – LOST £7,000 AND NO STOCK RECEIVED!
I’m posting this as a serious warning to anyone considering using Direct Liquidation. I placed a large order worth £7,000, trusting their platform to deliver what was advertised. Weeks have gone by, and I have not received a single item. Communication has been poor to non-existent — I’ve tried emailing, calling, and using their support system, but I’ve either been ignored or sent vague, unhelpful replies.
This feels like a blatant scam. They took my money and delivered nothing. No tracking numbers, no shipping confirmation, nothing. I’ve also found multiple similar complaints online from other users who’ve been left in the same situation — missing stock, no refunds, and zero accountability.
Avoid Direct Liquidation at all costs. I’m currently pursuing legal action and reporting them to consumer protection services. If you've been scammed as well, speak up and file a complaint – don’t let them keep getting away with this.
scammers
I ordered a pallet of customer return monitors that were advertised as mostly functional (70%+ expected to be working). What I received was a complete joke. Every single monitor was either physically damaged (cracked screens, broken bodies) or completely dead when powered on. I spent over 2 hours testing them all — not a single unit was usable.
Worse, they were shipped without any boxes or protection, just stacked carelessly like scrap. This was NOT a case of a few duds slipping through — this was 100% e-waste being passed off as returns.
I now have to pay to recycle all of them, costing me more money and time. I’ve reached out to request a full refund including shipping and hope the seller will make it right. Until then, I strongly advise others to stay away unless you're looking to pay top dollar for garbage.
Missing over 4000 dollars worth of merchandise from pallets. Do not use thus company
I wish I could put up even less than 1 star.
Customer service is the absolute worst. Not helpful and rude, was hung up on twice. Once for suggesting I feel like I am being scammed.
This was my first and last experience with them. Totally not worth anything.
Forth Worth Texas location is horrible, they never have orders ready on time, you gotta sit around and wait for up to 2 hrs.they always missing a pallet and tell you come back another day , to someone who drives 6hrs to pick up, while they can't just bring out 1 more pallet, lazy and rude staff . How they label descriptions is a total disaster. They say untested customer returns, where each item has receipt saying broken, damaged, missing parts. Other locations make that correct pallet description( damaged/ missingparts, not here they just lie . I go to Arkansas location, warehouse there is amazing, descriptions accurate, staff friendly and helpful everything on time, nothing missing
They need to do better management at Forth Worth
I’ve come to realize those reviews were all fake.
I was only saved from complete loss by the help of those in the bio.
I'm extremely disappointed with DirectLiquidation.com. I spent $935 on a clothing pallet, and it was a complete waste of money. The packaging was completely destroyed, and the clothes were junk that no one wants. I tried talking to customer service, but they were super rude and didn’t take me seriously. It feels like I got scammed, and I regret ever placing this order.
Customer service is 100% awful. Was working with Henley he won’t return calls and says one thing and does another. I have purchased from them in the past and it’s a hit or miss. When you see no pictures of the pallets do not buy. Trying to speak with a Rep (Henley) is a joke he is a poor representation for the company. They just fired all the sales staff and call center is not in US when call can’t understand him. Just awful and the prices for some pallets are ridiculous I think they ghost bid against us to get more money. They are going down as a reputable business. Find other company’s to buy from and whatever you do try not to get Henley awful
SCAM! Do not buy! Purchased a pallet online which was labeled "damaged/missing parts/tested not working" when I get to the warehouse, the items I purchased had been fully recycled! Warehouse staff advised me to leave the pallet there, since it was labeled incorrectly, and they will contact customer service for a refund.
They did not give me a full refund and charged a 10% cancellation fee! Very disappointed with customer service received, and do not recommend doing business with them! I have purchased pallets from them before with no issue, but will not be purchasing from them again.

Scam. Do not buy from this company.
They will take your money and ship nothing. I have reported them to my visa for fraud and the better business bureau has been contacted.

Bought another pallet of portable DVD players for car, all discontinued factory damaged, not even 1 works.
They sell pallets say" tested not working "
But they lied and put untested costumer returns on pallets they know exactly all broken.
