3 reviews, 3.7 out of 5 on average. None of them comes from a Closo order yet — Closo counts only reviews from a purchase it can see.
A liquidator on record for closeout dealer. That is what the registry holds about the goods.
The registry records Surplus City Liquidators Corp. at 3500 Depauw Blvd Ste 2070, Indianapolis, IN — the address on the company's public footprint. Shipping terms are agreed with the supplier; Closo does not quote them here.
A liquidator on record for closeout dealer.
What the registry holds about the goods. Facts it can check — address, domain, payment methods — feed the score.
Every supplier is scored from 0 to 100 on facts we can check ourselves — not on what the company says about itself. The same checks run for everyone, the method is published in full, and no supplier can pay to change a score.
Ratings are quoted from Google and the Better Business Bureau as the registry found them on the dates shown. Closo does not add them to its own score; the score counts only facts it checks itself.
No Closo reviews yet; three reviews on other sites. Closo counts only reviews from a purchase it can see.
Great price & quality product! My A/C tech was impressed with the unit and price. Shipping took a couple of days longer than desired but that was not their fault, but rather the freight company. Surplus City even contacted the freight company to get them to make a special trip to the warehouse for pickup. It arrived in excellent condition with no issues. Definitely go with the "liftgate freight" option as the freight company lowers the unit/pallet to the ground for easier handling. I would order from them again in a heartbeat.
Sent wrong part then wouldn't take it back. Sorry company.
This company from Lebanon, IL, sells a large array of HVAC/AC equipment and other electric appliances.
We bought a fancy Miele oven here (online) at well below-dealer price and are impressed with how it was handled by SPC staff and their shipping carrier FedEx.
If you're looking to stretch those bucks, don't need dealer-package service for installation etc, but want a reliable company to deal with who don't waste your energy - they are it.
We were pretty nervous customers given the Miele pricetag. The SPC staff aced at communicating by email (there's a phone line we never even needed). Wh

The Better Business Bureau profile the registry matched by domain, as of Oct 7, 2026.
A D means the BBB weighed complaints, their answers or the time in business against the company. A rating alone is not a verdict: read the complaint texts on the BBB site before you decide.
Two complaints in the last 3 years, two closed in the last 12 months. Filed by buyers with the Better Business Bureau; the company's replies are shown as BBB published them.
Ordered and paid for home air conditioner condenser. Arrived damaged, noted, shipper started case. Informed surplus city with shipper case info, pictures. Surplus city responded with file a claim with shipper, not our problem. Shipper says Surplus city has to file the case- they were the customer not me. We are almost 90 days in, and no resolution what so ever. Seller refers me to shipper, who THEY contracted with.
I ordered a AC unit on 5/27/26 for $1730.09 it delivered on 6/4/26 & the wrong item was shipped to **** then proceeded to contact the customer service at ********************** city.Explaining that the wrong product was shipped and that we had received a heat pump instead of AC unit. They then asked me to send photos of what shipped & email them back. 2 hrs later. I called ** to confirm receipt of the email.I was advised that the email was received & was being reviewed.they would be in contact with me via email. On 6/5 email received stating that the model #on the unit was what was ordered. lo…
In Dec. 2025, I purchased 2 AC units from Surplus City. One arrived severely damaged and was unusable. I contacted Surplus City, and they directed me to file a claim with the carrier, which was denied. I then filed a dispute with my credit card company, and they issued a permanent credit of $2500.00. However, this did not include the $234.86 in sales tax and prorated shipping charges. The total I am seeking reimbursement for is $670.48 in shipping charges and sales tax. I should not be responsible for costs associated with a damaged and unusable product. I sent certified letters to both Surplu…
On 2/23/2026 I purchased a blower motor from surplus city. My hvac professional recommended I order an Evergreen blower motor, I used the companys search engine and found one, ordered it a received it for a total of $243.67 including shipping. Once it arrived, the professional I hired attempted to install the blower motor but then discovered that it was the wrong voltage. It was only 115 V and my machine needs 230V. He then discovered that the part was probably not even a true evergreen blower motor as those motors are equipped to be rewired and become 2 V. I contacted the company and asked fo…
Per the Surplus City terms and conditions (attached) all sales are final. Our business sells only new products. We do not accept returns as we can no longer guarantee the functionality of the products. Additionally, each invoice lists that all sales are final.
This website is a scam website. They sell items without any return policy and they don't notify customers about it. They sold me the defective item and we contacted them about return or refund for defective item. We requested to send the item back because item is defective. Return has been requested within a few days after receiving the item. We ordered the motor and motor doesn't work. Website is a scam. This website is absolutely despicable and customer service is also despicable. They sell defective parts and refuse to give refunds. The item was never installed. We only opened the package a…
