Create your very own suncatcher that mimics the look of a stained glass masterpiece! These 5" x 7" chipboard crafts have cutouts that are perfect for adding tissue paper and crafting a vibrant suncatcher of your own. Ideal for birthdays, themed parties, classroom projects, VBS, Sunday School, and retreats. This kit includes chipboard suncatchers, string, and an array of tissue paper colors. With enough materials to make 24 suncatchers, everyone in the class can join in on the fun! Hang them up to see the dazzling colors come to life in the light.
INSTRUCTIONS: Use a glue stick to adhere the tissue squares to the back of the cardboard. Cut or tear the tissue to fit the openings. To hang, simply loop the string through the hole and tie a knot.
Mix and match tissue paper colors: Experiment with layering different tissue paper shades to create depth and dimension in your designs.
Play with textures: Incorporate glitter glue, pressed leaves, or other embellishments to add a touch of magic to your suncatchers.
Think beyond the frame: Don't be afraid to let the tissue paper spill outside the cutouts for a more organic and whimsical look.
