Wow, ripped off from this auction site. Bought a 14k white gold eternity band with 2.29 carats of lab gown diamonds WITH a IGI report. Paid about $650. 2 stones fell out, went to jewelers only to find out the ring isn’t even sterling silver!! Called EBTH and they tell me it’s over the 30 day return period. So unfortunately there is nothing they can do.
pretty disappointing- this site looks great but the shipping fees are so inflated, and they wont let you combine. I purchased one item - a bracelet- and 3 weeks later they are shipping it. Really?
My ring purchase, Edwardian 14K Ruby Filigree Ring, did not have rubies (ebth stated lab-created), they were synthetic. Just glass according to my jeweler. If the ring composition was accurately depicted, I doubt I would have pay as much because it was only glass, I believe EBTH are benefitting from their fraudulent depiction of the item.
I paid $128 for an item and just learned shipping/etc. costs total $60. That is outrageous. Not disclosed until after I bought the item. EBTH has gotten worse and worse over the past years. Do Not Use EBTH!!! They are crooks!
Buyers be wary. I purchased a high end watch that EBTH indicated “watch is running at time of evaluation without detailed testing; future state not guaranteed”. It arrived not working at all and EBTH refused to accept the return.Do not trust EBTH or its statements.
I paid over $3,000 for a diamond bracelet from EBTH. The first time I wore it, it broke. I took it to a jeweler who said I should return rather than repair it, because it was poorly cast and would only break again in another spot. It took a lot of work to convince EBTH to take the bracelet back, including a letter from the jeweler. They finally agreed and I shipped it back and they received it, but they did not process the refund. I finally started a credit card challenge, and then the conceded and the refund was finalized. I strongly recommend against buying any new jewelry items on their sit
