Reconnecting an Expired or Disconnected Account

1. Why Accounts Expire or Disconnect

  • Password changes – If you update your marketplace password, Closo needs re-authorization.

  • Marketplace session limits – Platforms like eBay or Shopify require periodic re-login.

  • Security checks – Marketplaces may force reauthentication for added account safety.

💡 Tip: Don’t worry—this is normal, and reconnecting is quick.


2. How to Reconnect Your Account

  1. Go to Settings → Marketplaces in Closo.

  2. Find the marketplace marked as Disconnected.

  3. Click Reconnect.

    • For eBay & Shopify: You’ll be redirected to their secure OAuth login page. Enter your credentials and approve access.

    • For Poshmark: Reopen the Closo browser extension, log in to Poshmark, and confirm reconnection.

  4. Once approved, the status will switch back to Active.


3. Verifying the Connection

After reconnecting:

  • Run a Manual Sync to refresh your inventory.

  • Check that your sales and active listings are appearing correctly in your dashboard.

  • If errors remain, review your login credentials or retry the process.


4. Preventing Future Disconnects

  • Keep your marketplace credentials up to date.

  • Avoid frequent password resets unless necessary.

  • For Poshmark, keep the Closo extension updated to avoid sync interruptions.
