Etched Copper Wall Plates
Turkish Erzincan Style, Vintage
This lot features two vintage Turkish copper wall plates showcasing the intricate etching tradition of Erzincan. Each piece features elaborate motifs, including floral tulip patterns and geometric designs, created through surface etching with darkened oxidation to highlight the decorative details.
Hand-etched copper with contrasting darkened recesses
One plate by Gulistan (Erzincan) and one by Baysal Bakirel Sanatlari
Integrated metal hanging rings on reverse side
Approximate diameters: 8" and 10" (ruler visible in photos)
Condition: Good vintage condition with natural patina. Copper surfaces show light oxidation and minor scuffing. Reverse sides show handling wear and adhesive residue. No dents, cracks, or structural damage to metal or hanging hardware.
