How we measure: Resale value

Every figure in a Closo data block names its window and its source. This page says how each one is calculated and when we publish it. When the sample is too small, we say so instead of showing a number.

Method last revised Nov 1, 2026.

Resale value

How much of its list price does an item keep when it is resold?

What the figure is
A percentage of the list price, with the median resale price and the list price shown beside it.
What it covers
One brand and one product type, optionally one segment, new with tags unless stated.
Time window
Sales from the last 365 days.
When we publish it
Published when at least 30 sales are in the window and the brand's list price for that product type is known. With sales but no list price, only the median resale price is shown, marked as a small sample.
Source
Sold listings on Poshmark collected by Closo; list prices as shown on the brand's own site on the stated date.
How it is calculated
Median resale price divided by the median list price of the same brand and product type.

Prices on hub and lot pages are explained in How we price. Every other method is on How we measure. Past resale results do not promise future ones; prices and demand change.
