When you sell products that come in different sizes, colors, or styles, creating separate listings for each one can be time-consuming and messy. That’s why Closo supports listing variations — letting you offer multiple options in one place while keeping inventory organized and synced across marketplaces.
1. Open the Product in Edit Mode
-
From your Crosslist tab, find the listing you want to edit.
-
Click Edit or click on the product to open the Edit Product screen.
2. Go to the Variations Section
-
Scroll to the Variations area of the form.
-
Click Add Variation to create a new option.
3. Choose Variation Type
Common variation types include:
-
Size (e.g., Small, Medium, Large)
-
Color (e.g., Red, Black, Blue)
-
Style (e.g., Short Sleeve, Long Sleeve)
💡 Pro Tip: Use clear, standard names for colors and sizes so buyers can easily understand their options.
4. Set Inventory & Price per Variation
For each variant, you can:
-
Add available stock quantity.
-
Set a specific price (if it differs from the base price).
-
Upload specific photos if the variation has a unique look.
5. Save & Publish
-
Click Save to update your draft or live listing.
-
When crosslisted, Closo automatically sends variation data to marketplaces that support it (eBay, Etsy, etc.).
6. Update Variations as Inventory Changes
-
Track variation sales in your Closo dashboard.
-
Update stock levels to avoid overselling.
-
Remove variations when out of stock to keep listings clean.
💡 Next Step: Review your best-selling products and see if any can be converted into variation listings. This can boost buyer experience and increase conversion rates.
