Liquidation pallets for Australian buyers: what ships to Australia and what stays in the U.S.
Straight answer first: a pallet does not ship to Australia from Closo — pallets and LTL freight stay inside the U.S. What does ship is the parcel-size lot: 85,478 case packs and boxes right now, up to 44 lb each and 4 per order, by tracked USPS, with the same manifest and escrow as a pallet. 860 pallets are listed for U.S. pickup or delivery.
More for Australian buyers
How an order reaches Australia
Four steps, the same escrow as for U.S. buyers.
-
Step 1
Pick a parcel-size bulk lot
Case packs and boxes up to 44 lb, 4 per order, from suppliers who ship abroad. Pallets stay in the U.S.
-
Step 2
See the freight before you pay
Your postal code on the lot page shows the USPS estimate for Australia in USD — 1–3 business days in transit.
-
Step 3
Pay into escrow
Card payment in USD. Closo holds the money and buys the label; the supplier ships within the lot's handling time.
-
Step 4
Receive, inspect, accept
GST and duty, if due, are billed on arrival. Dispute any manifest line within the acceptance window; only then is the supplier paid.

Questions Australia buyers ask
Straight answers on parcels, duties, payment and what cannot travel.
How much GST and duty is there on a lot into Australia?
GST is 10 %. A consignment worth AUD 1,000 or less is a low-value import: GST is charged at the point of sale by a registered seller or platform, not at the border (Closo is not registered for Australian GST). Above AUD 1,000, GST, customs duty and the import processing charge are collected before release. Source: Australian Taxation Office — GST on low value imported goods, checked 2026-09-21. Closo declares the goods and their invoice value on the customs form and does not collect GST at checkout.
How long does delivery to Australia take?
The live USPS estimate for a parcel from Los Angeles to Sydney shows 1–3 business days in transit, plus the supplier's handling time on the lot and customs clearance on arrival.
Can I get a liquidation pallet delivered to Australia?
Not from Closo: pallets and LTL freight are quoted and delivered inside the U.S. only. If you use your own freight forwarder with a U.S. address, a pallet can be delivered there; Closo does not arrange the onward leg. The parcel-size lots on this page ship to Australia directly.
What is the difference between a pallet and a case pack?
A pallet is a stacked, shrink-wrapped load (often 200–800 lb) that moves by freight; a case pack is one or a few boxes of the same or assorted goods, up to 44 lb each, that moves by parcel — the format that crosses the border.
Can I pay in Australian dollars?
Prices and payment are in U.S. dollars; your card converts at its own rate. There is no bank transfer and no Australian dollars price list.
