Are novelty lots new or returns?
Most are new importer or distributor stock in retail-ready displays; a returns lot says so in its condition grade and deal type.
What is a retail-ready display?
A counter or floor display pre-packed with a fixed number of pieces (a 12-piece squeeze-toy display, a 24-piece blind-box case). The piece count on the lot is that number.
Do toy lots need any certification to resell?
Toys sold in the U.S. must meet CPSC rules; the supplier's listing states compliance where it applies. Ask the supplier through the lot page before buying for children under 3.
